Melbourne is having a nice weather around this week, which makes that a good timing for a gallery walk. SHOHEI OTOMO’s delicate drawing skills accompany with the japanese characteristic which amazed me the most. The location of the exhibition is quite unique. Despite with the traditional white cube gallery (White wall square space, floor ground, delicate environment, I will say the Backwoods Gallery have a interesting environment with the mental ladder, temporary space with a corrugated iron roofing which makes me associate the space with Hong Kong temporary housing. Although the inner space is complete and furnished, it create a contrast on the architecture.
