Explain your need to fight

Your way to drain the water

To set up the kite.

Have a resolution

Don’t ask for absolution.

Articulate like a lady

Fight like a commoner

Push two worlds together

Dancing on the bridge

Only to not turn the switch

Breaking the hatch

Down through the middle.

Wrenches used when building

Branches alone not useful

Brackets to create an image

Just small pieces.

All reminding of what peace is.

To find a calm mind

Within yourself

When all around

It keeps spinning

Swirling around its

Own axis

As fast as you can

Without falling down the fan.

I needed to put up a fight.

Only to realize

That I can be my worst enemy.

Even when there is nobody

Out of my body

That I can be mad at

Only attracted at

Or forgotten about

Pushed out

Of my thought

Into a drought

Of forgiveness.

Strong as a lioness

Keeping her cups safe

Even for the case

That she can’t promise

To be present

When life bends

Tied in loose ends.
