Surprise

Whenever uncertainty appears
And you can’t be sure it clears
There are flies eating tears.
When one doesn’t show
That there is a flow
in the unknown all the time
Even when it takes a crime
To recognize when it ends
An end of dark lands.
But a start of sunshine
A fire starting off
Where it nearly couldn't
And others say it wouldn't.
Hair curling up again
After it was once shaved
Because a new one was craved.
A few gasps of air left
When diving in the sea
And you didn't think you could be free
There appears a sailing boat
Just close enough too see you
And bring you into safety.
Even when it seems impossible
Surprises are there
Because they are the ones
You couldn't know about.
Don't look for them
But they may come.
It will be a surprise.
