I can’t say Silicon Valley failed to understand UX. How I see it, it tries to educate people consequences of not applying proper UX. It also tries to show what happens when a whole team is comprised of developers only.

There are founders of startups who don’t believe in ux after all they are engineers. Silicon Valley shows them the consequences of not having the user at the center of what they do.
