The moment of truth
It’s here. It’s now. Each moment is precious. Each moment is crucial as it is unique and will never return the same. If you wake up every morning feeling grateful of being alive and with an attitude like this is your last day on the earth, how would that change your way of living?
From taking life as granted to appreciate every moment is a huge upgrade in anybody´s life!
You start to appreciate life in a way than never before. You start to feel joy, even for so called challenges or difficult times because you understand that life covers it all: sorrows and joys, tears and laugh, uphills and downhills. Everything is included and your job is to learn and make the best possible ride.
Breath in presence
Being present and conscious, you get more of each valuable happening, person, moment. You really LIVE your life. You feel it with all your senses. Life tastes like living and for that is so amazing in itself! Practicing being present is one of the best gifts you can give to yourself. The more present you are, the more conscious you are about yourself and all that’s around you. Then life doesn’t just slip away, but instead you are very much alive.
Learn to take even small moments to yourself. Just for a moment quiet your mind whether it’s closing your eyes or gazing over a sea or walking in the nature. The quickest way to become present is through breathing. Just take a few conscious deep breaths in and out.
A positive circle
Understand that you are the master of your mind: you CAN change your thoughts! When you shift your thoughts from negative to positive, from complaining to being thankful, from worry to trust, at the same time you shift the feelings equal of those thoughts. Be mindful of what you are thinking and choose your thoughts wisely. They have an immediate effect on your feelings.
That affects the emotions in your body. You automatically straighten your body position, become more open, simply feel better. This positive circle of being present -> choosing thoughts -> happier feelings and emotions make you smile. As you smile, you make also others smile and that makes you even happier.
Feeling good isn’t difficult but it takes some effort. It’s so worth it! You don’t have to do all at once. Try one step at the time and notice what happens.
Feeling good is a healthy drug: the better you feel, the more you want to feel it. That’s pretty good, isn’t it?
