A Work in Progress

I grew up in a secluded town in North Carolina, everyone was very republican and anti-gay and extremely religious. It was so small that everybody knew everybody. I hated North Carolina for many reasons, mostly because I tend to agree more with the democrat party but also because everyone grew up together from elementary school to high and then college. Nobody left that town. How thankful I am to have moved. The Chicago suburbs are filled with so much more opportunity for growth and there are so many more resources to truly discover your destiny and purpose in life. I am grateful.

This song matters to me because it truly captures the essence of love and my goal in life to be fully committed and give myself to someone. I want a selfless love. That’s why I love this song.
