Fun fact, most people have no idea that the colors that they love might have a bearing to their own person, albeit, subconsciously. More often than not, individuals will choose colors because those colors appeal to them yet fail to realize that they are in fact sending sublime messages about who they really are. This is because different colors mean different things. Read on for more insight

1. RED: Seductive and Dangerous!

On the plus side, this color is mainly associated with among others, passion, drama, love, desire, excitement, and energy. Individuals who prefer this particular color are known to live life on the fast lane savoring every bit of it. And although productive in most aspects of life, on the flip side, these same individuals are also viewed as angry, violent, and destructive by nature.

2. PINK: The Tender and Charming!

This color is believed to be the color of innocence, softness, and, of course, femininity. Additionally, experts believe that people who are drawn to pink tend to not only be healthy and content about most things in life, but also delicate, romantic, and charming. For anyone seeking to get in touch with their inner person, pink is a good starting point. Girls, true or false. Of course, it’s true.

3. YELLOW: Optimistic and Imaginative!

For the optimistic, yellow is the way to go. This is because psychologists believe that the color offers hope, something every individual need at some point in their lives. Idealists also have a thing for this color. Why? It’s associated with the imagination and as we all know, the sky is the limit. Its other aspects include wisdom, relaxation, knowledge, joy, sunshine, happiness, summer, dishonesty, covetousness, fear, deceit, betrayal, illness, hazard, and jealousy.

4. ORANGE: Zeal and Flambouyancy!

Orange is for the energetic soul. Those with an unmatched zeal for life. It is also known as the color of balance, warmth, and vibrancy. Individuals who love this color beam with enthusiasm and tend to approach life with an open mind rearing to exploit every opportunity that comes their way. Oh, yeah, and given that it’s a shouting color, they are seen as being flamboyant too.

5. GREEN: Youth, Naivety, Health!

This is the color of nature and symbolizes good health, fertility, and growth. It is also known to be widely associated with youth and vigor which translates to energy, naivety, and inexperience. This means these individuals burn with energy but lack key fundamentals. There’s also the little matter of jealousy and envy, lest you forget.

6. BLUE: Call Me Loyal!

The color blue points to faith and spirituality. Individuals who love this particular color are also known to be content, loyal, and advocates of peace and unity. Experts also argue that blue speaks of stability, trust, and harmony. On the other hand, blue is also widely associated with mental depression. As in, why so blue, love?

Wind Up!

The argument, as different quarters will agree, is debatable at best, well, depending on one’s philosophical bend regarding the matter anyway. Moreover, there is a myriad of colors that can further contribute to this discussion. One thing, however, remains true, in and of themselves, colors, remain just that, colors, yet in their own unique and unspoken language, speak volumes about who we are, with or without our knowledge. So, what’s your favorite color, and why?
