Is there a way you can qualify the problem of harassment on the internet as a “woman’s” problem? Women get harassed on the internet, but please, let’s not forget…everyone else with an idea that a troll disagrees with regardless of their gender, race, nationality or whatever. With this in mind, I wonder what purpose this article serves by singling out harassment as a problem specifically directed at women? Is your view myopic? Are you looking at only instances of harassment when they’re directed at women by people who disagree with them and framing the problem too narrowly?

What are the qualifiers here? Why is harassment not simply a “problem” but a women-specific problem? In meatspace, it’s easier to consider with physical attributes of men generally being larger and stronger than women, but this falls flat on digital platforms. So…
