Agree with most of this. However, the front row kids are typically also in favor of greater wealth redistribution and greater investment in communities. Currently the very wealthy are getting the best of both worlds: they surf the wave of FRK enthusiasm for globalism while also controlling the levers of power to keep taxes low and infrastructure/community spending correspondingly low, exacerbating the problems of many of the BRKs.
Admittedly higher investment in BRK communities does not automatically entail greater self-esteem for those communities. Frustratingly, the politicians serving the wealthy typically have great success in selling the BRKs a message that buoys their sense of self-esteem while actually proposing policies that will screw them over.
