It is interesting, as they’ve morphed into, essentially, a studio I, too, have found that their ability recommend seems diminished. Their aggregated content catalog is seemingly greatly diminished too. I find myself in the same situation where there are a few things I actively want to watch but that’s about it. The thing is, that’s all they need. Mega-hits like House of Cards, Orange is the New Black, and Stranger Things are great as they effectively work as marketing. But really, they just need to make sure you and I are ok enough with what they do provide such that we don’t cancel. It is for sure a different way to measure success than traditional channels that rely on “biggest audience” and demographic metrics to gauge success.
