In the GSM world, typing ##004# and pressing “dial” or the green call button should push instruction to the carrier platform that you wish voicemail function disabled. Anyone calling you past this point will either get busy tone or ring until disconnected but never redirected to voicemail. To echo your article, disabling voicemail is the best!
