Almost every project never saw the light of a day in my long programming career. It happens all the time. At times, you are so passionate about what you do and almost finished before it gets shelved by your manager or by the company — very quickly , as if it never happened. You get assigned a new project and expected to forget about the past one quickly.

Nothing new.
