Is it possible YOU’RE not taking things into account? Someone with PCOS can have an extra hundred pounds on them eating roughly the same as a slim person. That’s just one thing. Multiple medications cause weight gain, especially those that control the brain and hormones. I realize it’s easier to believe that people who weigh more just eat more, but that isn’t the whole story.
Great as always! I saw one point on Twitter recently that white women always have more than our fair share of defenders. Just that one statement totally blew my mind open and this essay really illustrates that.

The problem is that women are often treated like Ford is being treated now. Even as a young woman I knew through the whisper network what coming forward would do to your life. As an advocate, I saw that in practice. Women are put through hell for a very small chance that their rapist will be punished. So I think we really need to fix this culture before we ask women to do that.
