Tip #1 for iPhone 7: Music and Charging via cables
Are you confused, sad, anxious or just fearful of change? Apple has removed the floppy drive, the 3.5 drive, the CD drive, 30 pin connector, and now the headphone jack.
Trust me — this has been and will always be for the good.
Why did Apple remove the headphone jack?
- To make room for parts that make using our devices better like, bigger battery, stereo speakers, making the iPhone water resistant!
- Because Apple believes wireless is the present and future and a device that sells a billion units can make the real change in the industry to have wireless be standard.
When buying an iPhone 7 you get:
- A New set of EarPods that connect via “Lightning” (The sound is better too!)
- An adapter for those who wish to use other headphones
More wireless and lightning available via Beats and others. Also — the rad AirPods are coming in late October!
My concern are people that do not have bluetooth in their car/home or wish to listen to music/video AND charge your iPhone at the same time.
Here are two options:
- iPhone Lightning Dock: http://www.apple.com/shop/product/MGRM2AM/A/iphone-lightning-dock-white (available in several colors now)
- Belkin’s Lightning Audio + Charge RockStar
There! Hope this eases any fears or anxiety. The new iPhone 7 is EPIC and I am here to answer any question.
