UAE and Oman shares historic and brotherly ties

UAE and Oman share social and cultural relations that extend deep into history. It started in 1968, with the historic meeting between the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan and Sultan Qaboos bin Said.

The UAE is one of the most important trading partners of Oman. Data shows that the non-oil trade between the nations from 2012 to 2021 amounted to more than AED362 billion. This showed a growth rate of 98.9% to reach AED46.5 billion by the end of 2021.

Both nations are working to enhance trade and investment activities and develop partnerships across various sectors particulary in economic sectors.
