Time is ticking.

Someone got a better job than you.

Your parents expect more from you.

And you are stuck in a job that you don’t even like.

Now you are feeling anxious every single second at work.

“That’s my last day, that’s it, I am quitting” — are your words every time you go to work. But it has been 7 months, and you can’t leave your 9–5 because you have to pay your phone bill, rent, groceries, etc. You are living paycheck to paycheck, and you are tired of this.

Acceptance

If you feel this way, then let me tell you that you are not alone; you just realized it. The majority of successful people went through this phase. Justin Welsh, Morgan Housel, and other great writers that I know experienced this.

A great plan

They started working for a job and felt miserable but continued to work for their 9 to 5 job, not because they were waiting for a perfect time but because they were creating their perfect time.

They did their day job while working on themselves, learning new skills, and building their future. They realized that they had the problem and took action on it. I see a lot of people saying, “That’s the work, you have to do this to earn money.” No, you don’t have to do that.

Most companies pay you minimum enough just to keep you in that job so that you can work for themselves.

IT IS OKAY

It’s okay to feel stuck.

It’s okay to feel alone.

It’s okay to feel helpless sometimes…

But it’s not okay to keep feeling this way.

Take action the time you realize you are in a trap.

A quote from James Clear:

“It doesn’t make sense to continue wanting something if you’re not willing to do what it takes to get it.

If you don’t want to live the lifestyle, then release yourself from the desire. To crave the result but not the process, is a guaranteed disappointment.”

Choosing to Build Yourself

If you keep waiting for luck and a perfect time, trust me, it is never going to come.

Utilize the time, plan for your future self, and make hard choices today to have an easy life tomorrow. It is better to force yourself today to wake up early and do something for your future self than waking up in your 40s realizing that the time has passed, and you have wasted the most energetic years of your life.

“The greatest superpower is the ability to change yourself.” — Naval Ravikant.

The Present is all we have

(From the Book The Almanack of Naval Ravikant)

There is actually nothing but this moment. No one has ever gone back in time, and no one has ever been able to successfully predict the future in any way that matters. Literally, the only thing that exists is this exact point where you are in space at the exact time you happen to be here.

The tomorrow that we are always waiting for is today. Start slow but in the right direction and just keep moving.

“Inspiration is perishable, act on it immediately.” — Naval.

That’s all for today. Thank you for taking the time to read this, it means a lot to me.
