A journey of 1000 miles, and the first step ! #100dayschallenge
So, today morning, when I woke up, I decided to do something to change my life. I have been longing enough to be a trainer, and to teach youngsters the lessons that I learnt the hard way in life. So I decided that I will take up a 100 days challenge, the challenge, that I will go Live on facebook every day for 100 days and will also post a blog about the same.
This is the video that I posted. So, since today was the first day and it was mostly about the morning thoughts and rituals and routines that I follow and the things I want to do.
There’s one thought that has always been there with me is that no matter what happens, no matter how good or how bad the weather is, the sun comes up, everyday, like an obedient, sincere child who goes to school everyday, or possibly like a boss, a boss, who is always there no matter what the situation is. A boss, who’s always there to support, no matter what.
Infact, now that I am writing, I feel, that there’s no comparison that can be made, there’s no analogy that you can give to compare Sun with anything. So, Yes, the fact is that the sun can’t be compared to anything.
So, what is it that I want to point out? Actually, there are a few things which I learnt from Sun and I really want to point them out.
- Sometimes, you won’t see things in person, but they are happening, and they are definitely effecting your mind and body — Just like when you don’t see the sun, but you can surely see the light and you know that it’s there. In life also, we sometimes don’t see our well-wishers, our family, our parents, our siblings around with us, but their good wishes and their care and concern is always doing its job. So, just sit back and count your blessings when you are down, you will be amazed to know how much everyone loves you.
- Everyday is a new day and an option to start fresh — It’s so true, after the darkest hours of the night, it’s inevitable that the sun will rise and there will be light. With every new day and a new sun rise, we have an opportunity to start again. Make the most of this opportunity, build yourself up, come out of the bed and begin your journey fresh.
- Being consistent has it’s own merits — See, if you’ll keeping changing the course of action, if you’ll keep changing your roads, you might never reach anywhere. I have also learnt this the hard way. Be Consistent, and the world will trust you and sooner or later, you shall reach where you want to be. Have you ever thought that the day might not come? The sun might just disappear one day? I am sure none of us have thought like this ever, that’s because it’s been there always. Be consistent and be there for everyone who trust you with that.
- Last thing, give more than you take, trust more that you are trusted and do more than your might — There’s a little extra between an Ordinary and Extraordinary, and that’s what makes all the difference. Sun never asks anything in return, rises everyday and and provides for not only for us human beings, but everything else too. Become Extraordinary by doing just a little extra and you’ll never look back.
As Lao Tzu said, “ A journey of a thousand miles, starts with the first step”
