Hoarding is a huge problem, but re-investing the money in the economy is no solution either. If we completely ignore money, we see the cancerous resource streams (that experienced only a little dip in the 2008 financial crisis)- the destructive collective behavior has been made possible by money, and that needs to stop. I would much rather the Koch brothers put their wealth in a shoe box than re-invest it in fracking and tar sands -
