As a fellow Texan and fellow human being, I sobbed while reading your story. A lot of us forget that it isn’t just politics — it’s about other people, heartbreaking situations, and lives that are forever changed because others have it in their head that their opinions should become laws governing others’ lives. I’m not a writer, so I’m having difficulty expressing just how deeply I felt for you, your wife, and little William. I am so sorry. I know it’s not my fault, but I am so damn sorry.
