1. Hanuwantiya Tapu: The Island of Madhya Pradesh

If you have not yet visited this beautiful island of Madhya Pradesh then you must add this place to your travel list. This place gives you a complete island feel with many adventure activities.

Hanuwantiya is surrounded by the Satpura mountain ranges and the Vindhyachal hills. It is located at the banks of the Indira Sagar Dam. That definitely gives you mental peace with pure natural vibes.

Hanuwntiya Tapu

Hanuwantiya also is the place where Jal Mahotsav is hosted every year from November to January. During this time the beauty of this place reached its peak. If you love water activities then this place is for you, Come here and fill your life moments with mesmerizing adventures.

For reaching this place, the most popular option is Indore from where the distance is nearly 150 km. You can find easy transport connectivity from here. However, Khandwa is also the best option for reaching Hanuwantiya as from here the Island is just 50KMs. But as this place is not easily connected to the rest of the places Indore can be considered for outsiders.

2. Pachmarhi: The Hill Station of Madhya Pradesh

Many of you must have heard of this place or have once visited here as it is the most popular hill station in Central India. Pachmarhi is situated in a valley of the Satpura Range and that’s why known as the “Queen of Satpura.” This place has the highest point in the state, Dhoopgarh, from where the beauty of nature will blow your mind.

Pachmarhi Waterfall

As a hill station, at Pachmarhi, you can see many tiny and big waterfalls that will amaze you with their beauty. Not denying the fact that one should visit this place in the rainy season to capture scenic views. But sometimes due to heavy rain or bad weather conditions, all your plans will not work.

Thus, I suggest you visit this “bundle of nature” at where your love for nature will intensify. It is quite popular for trekking and hiking. Also, cycling and sightseeing by vehicle will be another good option to capture the natural beauty.

For coming to the “Queen of Satpura,” you have many travel options available from popular cities of Madhya Pradesh like Bhopal, Jabalpur, and Indore.

That’s it for now! I tried to give you a tiny idea about these 2 places that can be your next destination. As Winter is coming, so get ready with all your travel essentials and leave a little ❤ here!
