5 Places to Eat Around Holborn
Haus, being in the very heart of this amazing city, encourages its members to feel the vibe of the place we call home. Let us tell you about our most loved places in the neighbourhood of our first coworking space, Haus at Sway.
Food is one of our most favourite things in London. When spending your day at our coworking space, you have all Covent Garden and Holborn’s cafes and restaurants at your disposal. Here are only a few that we especially recommend:
My Old Dutch is an amazing spot for all the pancakes lovers out there. A wide selection of savoury and sweet crêpes won’t disappoint even a very picky pancake-connoisseur. We suggest spending your Monday lunch break there to benefit from their Monday offer on crepes which are only £5. My Old Dutch is 2 minutes away from Haus which makes it an even better option for a quick lunch.

Bageriet is a tiny Swedish bakery hidden in the cosy streets of Covent Garden. It has only 4 tables where you can drink a cup of coffee and eat delicious desserts. The pastries do not only taste amazing but look extra cute. Instagram-friendly interior and exterior and interesting desserts would be an amazing way to indulge after work.

If you step outside Haus and walk to the left you will notice a lively pub-like restaurant across the street with an image instead of a sign. The prized outdoor tables of Great Queen Street restaurant are almost never vacant. This is one of the few gastropubs around London which has predominantly British menu. You can find some unique British dishes out there like Suet crusted steak with ale pie or smoked ox tongue. The menu changes daily so you will discover something new whenever you come there.

If you fancy some asian twist to your lunch, then you should definitely check out Japanese Canteen. A big selection of bentos and ramens will fill your tummy with some tasty asian goodness. Amazing option for a quick lunch and it just something different from your average ‘quick lunch’ options like Pret-a-Manger and Leon.

A famous american burger house serving the tastiest cheesy fries are just 5 minutes away from Haus. It is one of the juiciest beef patties and softest bun put together in London. In our opinion, it is the ultimate representation of krustykrab from Sponge Bob cartoon:) The charming Covent garden location definitely adds on to the overall experience of the place.
24 Market Building, Piazza, London WC2E 8RD
In addition, don’t forget that the perks of working in our coworking space is that you don’t need to go anywhere for dinner, you are already in a restaurant. Feel free to have dinner at Sway with 50% discount off drinks for our members.
