You may find some travel guides would also talk about this museum but I insist to write an article to talk about it as I was really shocked when I got there to have a visit. This Miniature Museum (Chinese: 袖珍博物館) is located at the basement level of a commercial building. There are signage for directing you to the entrance so you don’t have to worry about getting lost. The museum has different thematic exhibitions seasonally, so you’d better check what exhibitions they are having before your visit. For more information about their latest exhibitions, you can click here for checking up the official website.

There are a lot of exhibits inside and the best thing of this museum is that you can get out and get in anytime you want in the same day with your stamp mark on your hand. The air conditioning was quite strong so please be reminded that you should get a jacket before entering the hall.

Don’t expect there are ENGLISH captions for those exhibits!!! Even for the Chinese captions, they are just written in a few lines. To be frank, it’s hard to get any useful information about the exhibits aside from the names of the exhibit and the creator, and the year of creation. Taking photos inside the exhibition hall is allowed so I advise you to grab a nice camera to get there — you will uncontrollably keep pressing the shutter. They had exhibits mostly about European history, fashion and architectures: Snow White story, Alice in the Wonderland, Peter Pan, Buckingham Palace, wine factory etc. It will cost you around 1~1.5 hour for walking around the whole exhibition hall to look at those fabulous handmade aesthetic creations. I have selected some photos below, so you can get a general idea how great is this museum. 🙂

Venice, Italy
The historical site of a Rome Shrine
A castle
The Buckingham Palace (inside)

I was so impressed by the technique to make up something like THESE!!! Though it had been a tiny detail, the maker did TAKE IT SERIOUSLY and pay attention to all details in order to enhance the authenticity. Yes, these are art, which shock your soul deeply.
