To all the various caring people that read my 1min summary,I thank you. To live with opiate addiction is so confusing, all you hear is “The opiate epidemic” is killing all ages,races & all facets of income.Oh but I never hear any solution other than detox, detoxification is helpful, unfortunately its long term success is questionable. Some don’t have the life that can be up and left to go away for a period of time. I have not heard much,if any information on

methadone maintained treatment.

It saddens me because I am currently in MMT out patient care.It is the only treatment that has kept me opiate free for 12yrs. I have over the past years gotten 5 people on MMT . With all doing well. I pray for any person/family struggling with this disease. Please if you love someone struggling with opiates, and rehab/detox did not help ,look into methadone treatment.
