A world without modern-day technology - explaining the possibilities and challenges of a society without modern-day technology

Technology is the backbone of most events and activities in today’s world. Schools utilize technology for their websites and portals, while organizations also rely on technology for various tasks and many other things. It permeates both high and low places, making tasks like banking much easier since its introduction.

A society without technology today would be akin to a creche without caregivers, Spiderman without his web, or food without salt. It would feel like walking in the dark, as technology aids in gathering and searching for information. Maintaining such a society would be challenging as everything relies on technology.

However, humans have a history of finding solutions, and, inevitably, technology will eventually find its place. A society without technology might offer more opportunities for physical bonding and face-to-face interactions, reverting to manual labour and traditional methods. Yet, it would also mean a lack of medical progress and difficulties in addressing global issues, making life significantly more challenging.

They say money makes the world go round but I’d say technology makes the world run.
