Controversial Thought: I Love Spoilers

Most people don’t like spoilers. Spoiler warnings abound. But I love them. They act as a point in the story for me to get to, a motivation, if you will.

But I don’t want to ruin other people’s fun so I have to watch myself. Sometimes, however, I mess up. Like yesterday when I was telling someone about a show and before I even realized it, I told him a spoiler. A crucial plot point. The trouble here though is that I load myself with so much content that when another person hasn’t seen the show I’m not even thinking about that because it’s like everyone has watched everything I have in my mind.

When I used to read all the time, I would often go to the back of the book and read the last few chapters or skip the middle and just read the beginning and end. It was a motivation to finish the rest of the book.

Anyway, the question is, does anyone else do this or like spoilers like I do?

One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?

By clapping more or less, you can signal to us which stories really stand out.
