Is the Australian Government part of a global conspiracy to worsen Climate Change? Probably.

With all eyes on the Australian bushfire crisis, we could be forgiven for missing the massive humiliation Prime Minister Scott Morrison faced on January 26th. Remarkably, it’s a humiliation that has nothing to do with him celebrating his beloved country on Invasion Day, a circumstance that was painfully embarrassing for all of us.

Oh god, like, has nobody told him?

It was, rather, a humiliation sparked when far-right Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro beat him to becoming the first foreign leader to visit New Delhi in 2020, honoured as ‘chief guest’ on India’s own national holiday, Republic Day.

It was a significant miss for Morrison, who had to cancel plans to travel to India earlier in the month, thanks in part to the lefty-loonies who thought it wasn’t “cool” for Australia’s leader to fly half-way across the world during the most catastrophic climate change event in the country’s history, just so he could attend trade talks to sell more fossil fuels to India.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi was, of course, disappointed. He loves coal. And though he’s been distracted recently by mass protests in the capital…
