The liver grew back

So, Prometheus stole the secret of fire and gave it to us.
 Perhaps, for we wasted the dawn, Zeus grew angry. 
 Not on us.
 It was Prometheus, and his futile misdeed made the god angry.
 He had to be punished. 
 Thus, he was chained to a rock grave.
 And each day, Zeus’ eagle craved out the poor one’s liver. 
 But, each night it grew back in the Sisyphean way.
 So that it can be eaten, the next day…
