Prove that it would cost 10 times more if Trump didn’t go to his own resort.
The big issue is that since Trump is staying at his own resorts, he makes money for the secret service and associated staff to stay there too. Unless he’s giving these rooms gratis (and he’s never indicated that is the case), we the taxpayers are essentially giving Trump money. I don’t know why you’d be OK with that.

Each of Trump’s trips to Florida cost the taxpayers about $3 million, each. So far that is roughly $9 million. Add the extra costs for Melania and Barron to live at Trump Tower and Don Jr. and Eric’s trips to promote the Trump Organization and it’s obvious that Trump will cost the taxpayers many more times what the Obama’s did.
