This module provide an opportunity for personal development, start building up a portfolio which need to contain 10–15 cohesive images to reflect technical, editing and critical skills of photography. Before starting up a portfolio, I will need to pick an area that interests me professionally).

In this project we will need to set up personal learning goals and demonstrate that we have basic photographic skills to deliver our work in serval criteria (Visual, written, verbal and technical). Other than that, we will need to be criticize on contemporary photographic practice to build up the knowledge of understanding in photography.

In the lectures, we will learn the threats, statistics, key issues, ethical practice and basic knowledge in the photography. Also there will be 6 guest speakers to tell us more about themselves and what is happening in the industry.

In order to record our practices, we will need to have a research folder to put all our research to support our own work and the information that have informed my design. For myself I choose to use a blog as a platform to record my work.
