Workshop exercise: Making a cup of coffee

Planning (Observing the environment, planning the action and shots)Plan the procedure (turn on the kettle, get a cup and spoon, open the lid of the coffee, get a spoon of coffee and pour into a cup. Pour the hot water in then get milk from the fridge. Pour the milk into the coffee and use the spoon to mix well)

Production (Shooting and capturing the scene)

Post-production (organize viewing and editing the footage)

Adobe Premiere Pro CC (Video editing)

First, create a folder to put all elements. It could name 4 files in Footage, audio, stills and renders. It is important to always save the work in the same folder.

Create a sequence
File>New>Sequence (Digital SLR,1080p, DSLR 1080p25 <-Frame rate)
Notes:

• In order to pick a specific footage from a footage, press ‘M’ at the beginning and press ‘M’ again at the end. Then put in and out point by pressing ‘{‘ and ‘}’
• Choose a sequence that I want to export by pressing ‘I’=in, ‘O’=out.
  When export and save a video, save one high quality for achieving and one low quality for uploading to the blog. As the high-quality video will take ages to upload, as the file size is too big (contain a lot of information)
