If Your Message Wasn’t For Sale, Would You Still Write It?
Jeff Crume

Interesting thoughts, Jeff, and it’s got me thinking about my own experience as a new writer. Currently with my blog and other personal essays, I’m not looking to make any money. But I do long to be validated. I’m sure we all know the disappointment of posting a piece and getting no response. I’m also working on a memoir. When that’s published, I DO hope people will buy it. But if a million people were to access it without paying a dime, and they read it and loved it, and I knew that they loved it, would that be enough for me? Hmmm. Perhaps. Or maybe not. Good food for thought.
