Well said, Susan. When I was newly working in the health insurance industry, I was well aware how little “outsiders” understood. I sat in the aisle over from some customer service people. I could hear them telling customers on the phone, “It’s on your EOB.” I wanted to scream at the reps, “They don’t know what the f*** an EOB is!!” (By the way, it’s an Explanation of Benefits page. Also, I’m not in that industry anymore. Phew!)
