Whyyyyyyy couldn’t I have read this paragraph and the book you mentioned 15 years ago when my 4th child arrived????? I wouldn’t have beat myself up so much the 10th time I took my 3rd child to the orthodontist at the right time but the wrong day, the 127th time I took my 4th child to school late, or the 1st time I locked my 4th infant in the van and ran screaming hysterically into the office near the parking lot that my baby was going to die if I couldn’t get her out and then finding out the passenger door was not locked.

To name a few….

Love, love, love this essay. THANK YOU for the perspective!!!!!!!!!! I am going to look up everything I can find now by Kelly Corrigan.
