Hi Victor. Good question! A. Because kids are (rightly) wanting to find their own place in the world, form their own views, have their own experiences. And parents (usually with the best intent) are trying to save them all the trouble, and grief, by passing on all the things they have learned “the hard way.” In the early 20s it seems like some magic happens and each side is able to see the other perspective — or maybe everyone just gives up the fight :)
