I have a model S, and was researching driving for Uber or Lyft last week. The one thing I kept coming back to was the additional cost for insurance as it appears Uber and Lyft do not cover your vehicle (physical damage) even while driving with them. Therefore, it didn’t really seem like I would make that much more as the commerical auto policy was substantially more than my personal auto policy. Where are you getting your insurance?
