Maybe the better approach to our stories is to come to them as living things, that we should attend to them and speak with them the way we would with a living, sentient person.
Your best stories have something to say. You might as well listen.
Mo Scott

Mo, I really enjoyed this piece. One struggle I encounter with writing is trying to capture a particular experience in just the right way. Maybe we can liken it to a conversation with another person in which we struggle to explain our point of view or simply to be heard. Sometimes we need to stop talking (writing) for a moment and listen to what the other person, our stories, have to say.
