Project Introduction

This project was created as a short experience to Virtual Reality for people .The scene includes a cave with magic orbs in the middle of the desert , a user needs to decode the hidden orb pattern based on a series of visual and audio hints To win the game.

Playthrough

This project consist of some prefabs like mountain, orbs and dungeon parts. that provided by the Udacity VR course ,I used them to build up the environment and some UI design.

When the user starts the game its displayed UI menu to begin the game, consist of the “welcome” text and Button to start ,after this user enterd to the game and he should the solve the puzzle correctly without any mistake to pass the level.

when the user done the game its displayed another UI menu to restart the game.

I like to keep my self updated with the latest trends, also i am a gamer and i like to make games especially in VR and AR.

Sketches

Here’s Some Sketches I created to get better vision about the app , those sketches were a good way to conceptualize the final product

First, the main prototype of the Puzzler project and how the game would look like.

Second, some UI to show the game’s “initial screen”. And at last, the “you win” screen.

User Testing

in testing Stage, I choose three users to match my target user for my project. I decided to ask them the same questions in to get pure info so I can enhance my Project

My Questions were:

Q: What do you see in this scene?

Q: How you feel about the size of the scene? if it is which item you feel it’s big?

Q: What kind of mood are you feel in this scene?

Q: Is the scene uncomfortable?

Q: Did you get a good VR Experience from this project?

I used An htc desire 10 pro with paired with Google Cardboard for testing

User test 1
The first user test told me to enhance the scale of scene and movement of the player ..he felt he was an ant in the scene

Improvement
I had adjusted the scene size and add more movement speed for the player.

User test 2
The Second user test told me to enhance the Light of scene ..he felt the scene was dark and no visual effects around him.

Improvement
I had adjusted the scene lights and added some fire particular effects

User test 3
User 3 liked the experience as VR tour and has no comments about it

Conclusion

At the end of the project, I am happy with how the project Completed. I learned about Unity and VR development.T his project especially highlighted the value of my testing and make a full report about a VR project.
While this project is basic now, but it can be expanded on in the future by including different levels and characters and features which will make it better
