Impressive and balanced. Rather than scapegoat one particular nation or tribe, you show how many parties were involved and why they made such catastrophic decisions.
I’m very far from a specialist but I seem to notice the same problem of tribalism in stories about the Middle East, Africa and even the USA (North ~ South), Korea…and even in my own tiny country of Belgium. Used as a weapon it tends to explode in the face of whoever wields it, but if you don’t you’re also fucked. I wonder how tribal loyalties and religion are connected in the Middle East? Or is this a really naive question?
