Update for Nexticy Cloud for iPad is coming in a few days. Thus, we introduce you a review of the new features and strong points of this version:
- The subscriptions have been removed. Now everything is free.
- The interface has been simplified. Three main screens were replaced by one.
- The workflow of the form builder has been improved. It has become easier to create a form.
- The “Publish” button has been added. Tap it and your template will immediately become ready for use as a form and will be uploaded to your Nexticy Cloud account.
- The way of sending forms for filling in has changed. Now you send just a link to each form on your account. Thus, someone receiving this link will be able to fill in the form on any device and send back a response. Also, we’ve released an extra app for iPad, namely Nexticy Reader that is for filling in only.
- An option of required fields has been added.
- You receive a notification every time someone has filled in a form that you had distributed. If you tap “Responses” button in form’s context menu you’ll see a screen with a spreadsheet of responses. Each row displays information about every field from the filled out form. There are buttons with a document icon in the leftmost part of each row. Tap them to open a filled form preview. It can be printed or shared as a PDF file. This method of storing forms is very convenient and does not require a lot of you iPad memory.
- Powerful filters have been added to the Spreadsheet for refining data for analysis. Work with charts has been improved, it also can be exported as PDF file.
- An ability to share access to the formed Spreadsheet with other users for joint work with it has been invented. If recipients are Nexticy Cloud users they will get a notification about receiving access to a new form. Otherwise, they will receive an email with a link for downloading Nexticy Cloud from AppStore alongside with receiving access to the form. A form you have received access to will be marked by a special icon on “Forms” screen.
- Data from the Spreadsheet of responses can be exported as Microsoft Excel .xls file or integrated with popular services and CRM systems (Google Spreadsheets, Sales Force, Quickbooks, Evernote, Zoho CRM). We find it to be a perfect solution, as all data from fillable fields will flow right in those services and platforms you use in your work!
