Objectivity is dead, and I’m okay with it
Lewis Wallace

Agree that neutrality in reporting is inherently impossible — in writing anything there is a bias, and that’s OK. But what I’ve half-joked about with my friends is that I would LOVE to see the full set of referenced facts linked at the TOP of an article (vs footnotes). That way if I wanted to dig into facts they’re in my face, and if I want to see how others present them, I can do that as well.

No one (at least that I know of) does bulletpoint facts / sources anymore, and this would be incredibly handy and time-saving. Googling ‘Did Trump actually say X’ is an endless rabbit hole I think most of us try to avoid — which in turn makes us subconsciously rely on headlines and gut reactions instead of facts.

Certainly a frustrating time to try to ‘get to the bottom’ of just about anything!
