Wait, what? Bitcoin is inaccessible to a young person with a CS degree? Is this more than anecdotal? If so then this is one of the more serious criticisms of bitcoin I’ve encountered. I don’t have a CS degree and I don’t write code. I grew up without computers, there wasn’t even one in my high school — that’s because it was the fucking 70s. My degree is in Latin and Ancient Greek. I don’t have any problems understanding the basics of btc, the difference between btc and eth, how to run a core node, using spv wallets on my phone and keeping my private keys safe in cold storage. Seriously? Dude.
