It’s a difficult balance, because on the one hand you want to do something quickly based upon the things you’ve learnt, and get it into the hands of the users to test, but on the other hand you don’t want to be accused of riding a waterfall to get the said prototype out there. Waterfall definitely has a place, possibly at alpha stage.
