One-Lined Poem: Backstabber

I always get excited when your brilliant prompts come along Tre, they’ve got me back into writing poetry again regularly - which is greatly appreciated. So just a massive thankyou for all the prompts you’ve given us! Anyway, here goes:

There is a not inconsiderable gap betwixt your words and deeds.

Your eyes glinted in the mirror like a knife.

Breach my confidence and you will not secure it again.

You have forced me to become a cartographer of faces.

One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?

By clapping more or less, you can signal to us which stories really stand out.
