Redesigning Ezeehousing — a UX Case study
In this case study, I’m going to talk about my process of how I redesigned Ezeehousing.com website. I will share my process, design decisions, and approach towards the redesign.

Solved the core problem of the website by creating and redesigning the entire structure and flow of the product and also as a product designer helping to increase their business through the design

01: User struggle to search the property they need.
Brainstorm and analysis idea
Finding out the solution for this we decided to change the search flow as its very hard to user to find the property they need, we came up through lot of ideas, business analyst and myself conducted the user research and tested with some samples of our new ideas and also with the other home search portals.
In the testing, we also get mixed results facing lot user face very hard to find the right property.
Also in competitive home search portals, they find it difficulty to search as they are more options before searching it and few options were pre-selected before searching which made the user takes more time to think.
Solving the ripple effect was a bit challenging, and made several sketches keeping in that mind,
After few days of sketching and improvising I found out the interesting pattern for search without ripple effect and we did many user testing’s to find out any complexity to search after the redesign.
02: Crafting clean and minimal experience
Minimalism is a perfect marriage of form and function. Its greatest strength is clarity of form — clean lines, generous whitespace, and minimal graphical elements brings simplicity to even the most confounding subject matter. That is, of course, if it’s used effectively.
I mainly focus to maintain consistency throughout out the website,
Hence, I decided to create a design system for the whole platform which will also be helpful for the developers to get the components and assets easily and to graphic designers who work for marketers as everyone to maintain the brand consistency.

03: Helping landlords to connect with tenant and buyers.
Now finding the property is made easy, how to find buyers or tenants for your property if you are a landlord. the worry of Landlords is not taken in the right way. After Empathising the Landlord issues, we have come up with Tenant Listing module, where the Landlord is given the freedom to choose the right and favourable tenant of his choice, from the broad range of available Tenants.
Let me show you the flow first
So here the challenge one is to get the requirements from the tenant or buyer, which is provided to the landlord.
To overcome this another module called post your requirement has implemented the post your requirement module mainly concentrates on gathering the tenant or buyer preferences. The preferences gathered in the post your requirement is listed in tenant listing.
Now! let’s see the prototype for this.
we focused more on how the landlord would find the right tenant/buyer easily, so we implemented a variety of search and filters.
04: Improving business by collecting leads through the website
The main plus of the sales team is to convert the user into the valuable lead to do the business, and the question is to how will we capture the user information to through website effectively
We introduced a section in which if any user had any question regarding the housing solution they can have our contact
So here how will we show the contact to the user and also have their contact?
We decided to have a small popup form in which the user can fill information to get our contact via SMS Hence, we achieve to get more user contact.
