Okay, so you have published the book you worked so hard on, and you are getting some sales, but you believe that with a little more promotion, your book could do a lot better, right?

Yes, that is correct. What you see is what sells. Although Amazon provides many deals, such as enrolling your book in the KDP Unlimited programme, setting up a countdown discount, and even paid promotions.

The problem is that, in addition to the two options mentioned above, there is a paid option. For those who can afford it, this is a great option, but if you are an indie writer like me who is just starting out as an author, this is not an option because it costs a lot of money.

So while I was trying to find ways to boost my book, I came across the A-content page.

What is an A-content page?

A content page is similar to a landing page in that you can add lots of appealing images from your book, mention book details, make an impression on the reader, advertise your book more attractively, and generate more clicks and sales.

Above is an example of an A-content page. Now that we know what an A-content page is and what it can do for your book, Let’s take a look at how we can get good images for this page.

How to get the right image for the A-content page.

Finding the ideal image for the A-content page is a little challenging because it only accepts images that are 3 MB in size and no larger than 5000 pixels.

Amazon provides a variety of “modules,” which are really just text and image templates. Let us see an illustration of what happens when you attempt to use an incorrect image size.

It displays an error, as you can see. There are now many websites on the internet that will try to resize or compress the image, but doing so will be time-consuming, as it was in my experience, and I am still unable to get the exact image I wanted. I will therefore demonstrate a simpler method for obtaining the appropriate image with a single click. Visit Pexels, a website with free images. To download an image, first, click it, then click the tiny arrow next to it. You will see a menu. Select “custom” from the list at the bottom, then type the required size, which is 5000 in my case. That’s it; that’s all you need to do.
