Reminds me of a classic Don Draper scene. Nothing wins an argument like not even caring.

The other part of this whole post for me is that, especially being earlier in my career, the competition can distract from original thinking by influencing what I think I should do. If everyone’s doing the same thing, it’s too easy to be subconsciously limited by how they do things. Ignoring them makes me forge my own path, which is inevitably more original as a result.
