Guess what I did today? I read your post, the paragraph about giving someone you love a rose specifically, and went home. I stopped by a grocery store and bought my wife a big bouquet of roses. We have been together for 4.5 years, and married for 2. I have never given her roses until today. She cried. I guess she liked them :-) Thank you!
