As someone with parents from São Paulo and an afroBrazilian grandmother who practices please never think you are culturally appropriating. I love to see those of the diaspora embracing their African roots and that’s exactly what Pomba Gira is, African roots. Of course with Brazil though we are typically mixed within our blood and culture with African European and indigenous but to say she only caters to white women or loves white women is insane. If anything she stands with the oppressed and misunderstood. Thank you for your posts!!
