I was gonna add one thing to my rant. Everyone can benefit from being taught how to read a freaking tape measure!!!! I have taught grown men how to read a tape. Do simple fractions too. 1/2 half of 1/2” is 1/4”. That is embarrassingly uncommon knowledge
