Immigration Is Now A Top Issue for Millennial Women
Skimm Studies

I’m not a millennial — I’m in my 70’s and the Skimm keeps my vocabulary up to date, TYVM. But I live in a city with 50,000 Bosnian immigrants — all of whom were vetted for more than 2 years. We help them adjust; they learn English and start businesses and are a tremendous asset to our region. ALL immigrants have, for years, been vetted. If anything, we’re not very openminded about the small quotas allowed from many countries — we could take more doctors and teachers and other helpful immigrants, but they often wait years and years because we limit by an old quota system. It’s time to make more immigrants welcome. Unless we’re Native American, we got here the same way.
